The Chartered Procurement Professional (CPP) is a Double Certification Programme offered by DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia in collaboration with the Malaysian Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (MIPMM).
Group Procurement is evolving beyond compliance and leveraging its nationwide presence to deliver significant synergies and savings. It is committed to delivering the best value to the group by focusing on the following key areas:
1. Managing the Organisation’s Group-Wide Spend
Supporting operations and protecting the organisation from procurement risks.
Increasing and strengthening collaboration across DRB-HICOM Group companies by including stakeholders in procurement and sourcing processes.
2. Strengthening the Procurement Organisation
Developing a clear training and development plan to enhance the skillsets and competencies of procurement personnel.
Emphasizing e-procurement and big data analytics.
3. Structured Category Management
Introducing a new, structured approach to managing group spending through a category management gated process.
The programme is designed to help participants gain a deep understanding of procurement management and apply consistent standards and approaches in alignment with DRB-HICOM guidelines. Special emphasis is placed on Strategic Commodities, Supplier Relationship Management, and Supplier Risk Management, equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to excel in procurement processes.
